By placing an order with Wiley James Hat Company, you’re agreeing to the following:

Each hat is handcrafted and truly one of a kind. Small variations in color, texture, and finish are part of what makes your piece unique and are not considered flaws.

All custom orders require a non-refundable deposit to begin. Once your hat has moved into production, cancellations are not possible, and custom pieces are considered final sale.

Please take care when providing your sizing. We’re always happy to guide you through the process, but Wiley James Hat Company is not responsible for fit issues due to incorrect measurements. That said, we’ll always do our best to help you end up with a hat you love—any additional resizing or adjustments may involve an added cost.

Inspiration photos are always welcome, but exact replicas aren’t guaranteed. Each hat is created through our own design process, and final artistic direction remains with Wiley James Hat Company.

Turnaround times are estimates and can shift depending on materials, order volume, and the season. We appreciate your patience while your piece is being made with care.

Final payment is required before your hat is shipped or picked up.

If you choose to send personal items or materials to be incorporated into your hat, you do so at your own risk. Wiley James Hat Company is not responsible for damage or loss during shipping.

Once your order has shipped, we are not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by the carrier. We recommend selecting package insurance for added peace of mind.

Our hats are made to be lived in and will naturally wear and age over time. Ongoing care is the responsibility of the customer.

We may photograph and share finished pieces for marketing and portfolio purposes, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.
